Why does it feel like Obama is America's liberator?!
But wait... if you are one of many Arabs who had hoped Obama would have a balanced approach towards Arab-Israeli relationship with America, you must be - by now - disappointed... say even disillusioned, by his choice for the White House Chief of Staff. So is this a sign of more disappointments to come?
I am going to have to agree with Republican critics: The President-elect, who ran a campaign based on the "Change" theme is surrounding himself with familiar Washington Clinton-era old-timers. Is this good or bad?
Well... the next few weeks with tell. With cabinet nominations due to be announced soon and a takeover on January 20th, major decisions are expected soon. Every one of Bush's executive orders is being reviewed and some will be repealed within a few days of Obama's swearing-in (the ban on government funding of stem-cell research is one of them apparently).
